It is often told that a hostess, i.e. the first person we see entering a company office reflects the image of its company, through her availability, her smile, her professionalism and her outfit. The same goes for professional answering machines.
Indeed, when we call a company, the first contact is usually done with the voice of the corporate answering machine that invite us to wait a few moments before a direct interlocutor take the call.
The audiotel voice is so very important! As the hostess, the voice must be welcoming, warm, sweet and smiling. I know how to modulate my voice so that it meets all of these qualitative criteria: choose my voice, and I will represent your company in the most professional and pleasant way!
Nowadays, most companies have an Audiotel, this automatic voice server which allows you to invite the person who calls to wait, give them information about the company, such as opening timetables, services and products proposed by the company, etc.
There are two types of Audiotel voice:
- a simple professional answering machine announcement, like “Hello and welcome to XXX, please wait, we are going to take your call in a few moments”
- or a multiple choice answering machine announcement to present the various services, allowing to choose the service you want to join by using the telephone keypad.
Here is an example of a multiple choice professional answering machine message that you can hear:
“Hello and welcome to XXX. To reach the accounting department, press 1; to reach the booking service, press 2; to reach a hostess, press 3; for all other request, press 0” and when pressing for example 1, you continue on the rest of the audiotel message “You reach the accounting department. If you want to consult your last invoices, press 1; if you wish to contact a financial advisor, press 2, etc.”
